The adventures of Cliff Booth, the laid-back stuntman Brad Pitt won an Oscar for playing in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, will continue. Brad Pitt and director David Fincher, who worked with Brad on films like Fight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, are putting together the unexpected project, which has a script by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino. The project is being set up at Netflix, where David Fincher has a first-look deal and aims to shoot quickly this summer.
The Hollywood Reporter says it is currently in development. No other cast is set and it’s unknown if Leonardo DiCaprio will return as Rick Dalton, maybe as a cameo.
The film’s official title is unknown, and insiders tell The Playlist that Netflix may have paid over $20 million for Tarantino’s screenplay.
