‘Ghostbusters’ star Ernie Hudson has been cast as ‘Toy Story’ character Combat Carl, a role played by ‘Rocky’ legend Carl Weathers, who passed at 76 last year.
Few knew that Weathers was even ill with cardiovascular disease, with the actor starring in ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian’ right up until his death.
Hudson will make his Combat Carl debut in Toy Story 5, which will premiere in 2026.
